Elenite
Elenite – BUCKLAND BROWN
Elenite – BUCKLAND BROWN – The first solid surface incorporating natural by-products into the material mix, for a difference you can feel.
Buckland Brown takes reference from stone, clay, and cool earth. Its natural colour is defined by the Walnut shells that go into its production, creating depth of colour and subtle variation that speaks to the complexity of the natural world.

Description
Elenite – BUCKLAND BROWN – Elenite is a next-generation solid surface material. Engineered from the inside out to bring meaningful CO₂ reductions; it’s the first solid surface incorporating natural by-products into the material mix. It’s a surface that blends character and conscience, without compromising on technical specifications.
Building upon the proven quality 100% acrylic solid surfaces, Elenite Buckland Brown features a new recycled resin system engineered to deliver a new design language and superior carbon credentials. This advanced composite is formulated with a blend of natural waste materials, recycled and virgin acrylic resins, fire retardants, and pigments.
What’s in Elenite?
– Bamboo Fibre –
A by-product of Bamboo processing for furniture manufacture.
– Walnut Shell – Waste from the Walnut industry.
– Mineral Powders – A mixture of minerals to give durability and smoothness.
– Binder – Recycled resin binder with 0% VOCs and no formaldehyde.- 29% lower embodied carbon than the solid surface industry average.
- Recycled content a minimum of 35%. This is equivalent to recycling 683 PET plastic bottles per square meter.
- All natural content – bamboo fibre, walnut shell, and walnut dust, sourced as waste locally to manufacturing.
- Factory is powered by on-site solar and the process uses no water.
- Contains no formaldehyde nor silica.
- At the end of a project lifecycle Elenite can be fully re-used for new products or completely recycled into new production batches.
- Elenite contains no unsaturated polyester, epoxy, or other non-acrylic resin systems – ensuring the durability, reparability, and consistent quality expected from solid surfaces.
- 25% CO₂ reduction compared to standard solid surface.
